In my experience, men often underestimate how much impact they have/could have in simply picking us up and setting us down. Even a few feet - from counter-top to bed; from wall to chair, from one room to another… It’s memorable, a physical swooning that rarely happens in my daily grind (too rarely?); it’s also memorable because it immediately asserts a control/power dynamic - even if only momentarily. I should have said this sooner.
